The 36^th International Summer Language School will be held from 13 to 31 June 2026.

The International Summer Language School was founded in 1990. Over the course of 30 years, it has established a strong position in the field of summer language education in the Pilsen Region and throughout the Czech Republic, and is one of the most important and most visited events with an international dimension organized by the University of West Bohemia.

The language courses, which attract hundreds of applicants every year, are taught by qualified lecturers, including native speakers, in an informal and entertaining way. Thanks to the participation of foreign lecturers and students, a diverse international community gathers at the University of West Bohemia. Participants not only improve their communication skills in a foreign language, but also have a lot of fun and make new friends. The whole concept of the summer language school is complemented by a rich accompanying cultural and sports program, which promotes a friendly atmosphere among all participants and creates a setting for students to meet outside of class, which helps to consolidate their newly acquired language knowledge and skills.
