EN 05 – English online – intermediate to upper intermediate (B1-B2) two-week course
Course content: This English language course is tailored to the needs of people who do not have the opportunity to attend a face-to-face course or prefer online learning. The course is designed for intermediate students who want to improve their knowledge and communication skills in English. The course includes interactive lessons, exercises and activities to help students develop grammar, vocabulary and conversational skills. Students will also use online tools and resources, such as videos, audio recordings, and online learning applications. Classes will take place over two weeks, daily from Monday to Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., i.e. 20 teaching hours.
Course Objective: The objective of the course is to provide students with confidence and the ability to hold independent conversations in English at the B1-B2 level. Students will be able to develop their language skills in an environment of their own choosing and connect with the teacher online.

EN 06 – English – Pre-Intermediate-Intermediate (B1-B2) – Two Week-Long Afternoon Course
Course Content: This course is tailored to the needs of people who are unable to take part in the full three weeks of the summer language school. It is therefore offered for one week. Participants will strengthen their language skills at a level corresponding to B1-B2 (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar structures and language functions), they will work on their competences (speaking, listening, reading and writing), as well as gain enhanced communication skills. The participants will develop their communication skills through listening and speaking activities.
Course objective: The course will strengthen and develop the existing language skills and competences of participants who have already achieved a B1-B2 level. Participants will acquire everyday life vocabulary and develop the grammar skills needed at their level. They will understand the main ideas of authentic texts concerning concrete and abstract topics, including professional discussions in their field. Participants will be able to discuss complex topics, solve problems relating to complex situations when traveling, or dealing with work matters. They will be able to communicate fluently and spontaneously with native speakers, without much difficulty on either side.

DE 07 – German – Intermediate (A2) – one-week afternoon course
Course content: The course focuses on consolidating language resources (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammatical structures and language functions), competences (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and strengthening communication skills. The course also includes lessons with a native speaker.
Course objective: After completing the course, the participant should understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to everyday life (e.g. basic personal and family information, shopping, where they live, employment). They should be able to communicate in simple, repetitive situations that require simple, direct exchanges of information about familiar, repetitive matters. I should be able to describe my education, immediate surroundings and immediate needs in simple terms.
Grammar: verb tenses in the present tense, preterite and perfective, inflection of nouns, adjectives and pronouns, numerals, verb conjugations, main and subordinate clauses.
Topics: daily routine, occupation, family, housing, shopping, weather sports, health, food, media, mail, travel, culture, leisure, realities of German-speaking countries

DE 08 – German – Intermediate (B1) – one-week afternoon course
Course content: The course is aimed at consolidating language resources (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammatical structures and language functions), competences (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and strengthening communication skills. The course also includes lessons with a native speaker.
Course Objective: After completing the course, the participant should have a better understanding of phrases and common vocabulary, respond more readily in conversation, be able to engage in a conversation without preparation on topics that are familiar to him or that he is more interested in. He should be able to write a simple coherent text on topics that he knows well or that are of personal interest to him. He should be able to describe his experiences and events, dreams, hopes and goals and be able to briefly explain and justify his opinions and plans for the future.
Grammar: préteritum, perfective plusquamperfect of verbs, participles prézens and perfective, forms of indicative and subjunctive in all tenses, imperfect gender, infinitive with “zu”, inflection of adjectives, pronouns, numerals, gradation of adjectives, adverbs, subordinate clauses, paired conjunctions, word formation.

RU 04 – Russian – Lower Intermediate to Intermediate (A2-B1) – One Week-Long Afternoon Course
Course Content: Developing communication skills and acquiring the vocabulary needed to discuss everyday topics. The lexical and grammatical material taught is derived from commonplace, everyday dialogues. The focus of the course is developing communicative skills using vocabulary-focused conversational topics.— . Teaching will be supplemented by reading simple, adapted texts and working with texts. Listening exercises and watching TV and videos. Teaching will be tailored to the level and interests of the students.
Course Objective: Participants will be able to understand formal language that relates to familiar issues encountered in everyday situations and will be able to deal with most situations that may arise while using a foreign language. They will be able to write simple, coherent texts about well-known topics or subjects of personal interest. Participants will furthermore be able to describe experiences and events and briefly detail their plans or justify their views.
Grammar: Verb conjugation, verbs that change their root consonants, verbs, personal and possessive pronouns, noun and adjective declension, cardinal and ordinal numbers.
Topics: Relationships in the family, interests and hobbies, work and studies.

Minimum Entry Level: The course is designed for students who want to deepen their basic knowledge of Russian, who have mastered the Cyrillic alphabet (in printed and hand-written forms) and are able to read and understand simple adapted texts in Russian. The course can be taken as a preparation course for the maturita examination in Russian.

IT 04 – Italian – Beginners (A1) – One Week-Long Afternoon Course
Course Content: The course is designed for full-time students. The course covers the rules of pronunciation and basic grammar ( the noun system, verb system, articles, prepositions) and simple conversation topics regarding everyday life (introducing oneself, family, food).
Course Objective: Graduates of the course will have gained correct pronunciation and will be able to read texts in simple Italian. They will also be able to communicate well enough to be able to handle basic life situations, make new acquaintances using Italian, and hold a basic conversation on common topics, as well as easily describe or express their opinions, wishes and needs.
Grammar: alphabet, pronunciation of consonants, double consonants, vowel length, accent, gender, plural of nouns, plural of adjectives, definite article, indefinite article, regular verbs in present tense, irregular verbs essere, avere, fare, prepositions, basic numerals.
Topics: greetings, introductions, personal details, description of persons, family, food, work.
Teaching materials: Materials provided to the students will serve as the basis for teaching.

IT 05 – Italian – Beginners/Pre-Intermediate (A1-A2) – One Week-Long Afternoon Course
Course Content: The course is designed for false beginners and intermediate students. The course covers basic grammar (irregular verbs, prepositions with articles, pronouns, past tenses, future tenses, the imperative) and conversation topics from everyday life (studies, work, city, shopping, traveling, cooking).
Course Objective: Course graduates will be able to read simple Italian texts with limited vocabulary and manage basic life situations in Italian. They will be able to converse on topics related to themselves without much difficulty and hold a basic conversation on common topics, as well describe or recount events in a simple manner, express their opinions, wishes and needs.
Grammar: Basic grammatical phenomena (irregular verbs, prepositions with articles, past tense, etc.) and conversational topics are discussed in relation to real-life situations (hobby, city, shopping, travelling, eating, etc.)
Topics: leisure, daily activities, city, shopping, travel, eating out

IT 06 – Italian – Pre-Intermediate (A2) – One Week-Long Afternoon Course
Course Content: The course is designed for pre-intermediate students and covers pre-intermediate-level grammatical phenomena (past tense, subjunctive mood, pronouns, etc.) and conversational topics with regard to real-life situations (culture, fashion, shopping, lifestyle, etc.).
Course Objective: Graduates will be able to read pre-intermediate Italian texts with vocabulary that is appropriate for this level. They will be able to communicate in a wide range of life situations and express themselves when discussing less common topics without much difficulty; holding a conversation on common topics as well as academic/professional discussions in their fields of interest. Graduates will be able to recount and describe events using a wide range of tenses and expressions, as well as express their opinions, wishes and needs in a friendly and courteous manner.
Grammar: past tenses passato – imperfetto, the subjunctive mood, regular and irregular commands, direct pronouns, indirect pronouns
Topics: culture, fashion, shopping, lifestyle.
Teaching materials: Materials provided to the students will serve as the basis for teaching.
Minimum Entry Level: A1+.
