CZ 01 – Czech – Beginners (A1) – Three-Week All-Day Course
Course Content: Course participants will learn the basics of the Czech language. They will learn simple communication: they will be able to use the most important polite phrases, everyday expressions and basic grammar. Emphasis is placed on developing productive skills, especially speaking.
Course Objective: The graduates of the course will be able to understand basic everyday phrases and use these phrases themselves. They will be able to introduce themselves and ask very simple questions. They will be able to ask for directions, buy in a store or order food in a restaurant. The presentation of Czech culture, history and aspects of life in the Czech Republic is also an integral part of the course.
An accompanying program is also prepared for Czech language students every year, during which they get to know Czech language students from other courses and Czech students and teachers.
Grammar: The verb “to be”, present tense, irregular verbs, genders, numerals, nominative and accusative singular, past tense.
Topics: Meeting new people, orientation in the city, in a restaurant, family, time expressions, famous Czechs.

CZ 02 – Czech – Pre-Intermediate (A2) – Three-Week All-Day Course
Course Content: Course participants develop communication skills at an A2 level. They will learn to express likes, dislikes and personal preferences, describe relationships between people, learn important phrases for situations from everyday life, such as shopping for clothes or travelling around the Czech Republic. Emphasis is placed on developing productive skills, especially speaking.
Course Objective: The course graduates will understand sentences and expressions related to everyday life. They will be able to communicate when travelling and shopping, they will be able to express their attitudes and opinions in a simple way. The presentation of Czech culture, history and aspects of life in the Czech Republic is also an integral part of the course.
Grammar: Declension of nouns in singular and plural, comparison of adjectives, personal pronouns, adverbs, conditional.
Topics: Countries and languages, what I like, relationships between people, housework, trips around the Czech Republic, clothes and how we look.

CZ 03 – Czech – Intermediate (B1) – Three-Week All-Day Course
Course Content: Course participants develop communication skills at a B1 level. They will practise expressing opinions on various topics and master certain aspects of grammar. Emphasis is placed on developing productive skills, especially speaking. Teaching is tailored to the level and interests of the students.
Course Objective: Successful graduates will be able to understand information about familiar things that they regularly encounter at work, at school, in their free time, on the street, etc. They will be able to deal with most situations that may occur when travelling. They will be able to write a simple, coherent text on familiar topics, a message and an e-mail. They will be able to describe their experiences and events and briefly explain their views and plans.
Grammar: Declension of nouns, modal verbs, verbs of motion, aspect, verb prefixes, word order.
Topics: Travel and transport, health and lifestyle, fashion, housing and employment.

CZ 04 – Czech – Intermediate (B2) – Three-Week All-Day Course
Course Content: Course participants develop communication skills at a B2 level. The course offers an opportunity to expand their vocabulary while communicating on interesting topics, and participants learn to express their attitudes to the topics discussed, simultaneously deepening their knowledge of grammar. Emphasis is placed on the development of practical skills, especially speaking. Teaching is tailored to the level and interests of students.
Course Objective: Graduates will be able to communicate quite fluently and spontaneously on a wide range of topics, and will be able to carry on a satisfactory conversation with native speakers without much difficulty. They will be able to discuss current issues, express their opinions, and talk about the pros and cons of certain choices. They will be able to compose a clear and detailed text on a wide range of topics.
Grammar: Aspect, verb prefixes, less frequent types of noun declension, passive voice, standard and non-standard Czech.
Topics: Media, internet and social networks, finance, crime, environment.

CZ 05 – Czech Conversation B2 – Upper Intermediate (B2) – Afternoon One-Week Course
Course content: Participants develop communication skills at the B2 level. They expand their vocabulary through discussing engaging topics, learn to express their opinions on issues presented in class, and deepen their understanding of selected grammatical structures. Emphasis is placed on developing productive skills, especially speaking. Teaching is tailored to the level and interests of the students.
Course objective: Participants will understand the main ideas of complex written texts and spoken discourse on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field. They can communicate fluently and spontaneously with native speakers and produce clear, detailed texts on a wide range of topics, explaining their views on current issues and outlining the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
Grammar: Aspect, verbal prefixes, passive voice, less common noun declensions, numerals, word formation, standard and non-standard Czech.
Topics: Media, the internet and social networks, finance, crime, the environment, culture, and other topics based on the students’ interests.

CZ 06 – Czech – Preparatory Course for the B2-Level Exam – Upper Intermediate (B2) – Afternoon One-Week Course – 27–31 July 2026
Course content: This course is designed as intensive preparation for the B2 exam. Students will become familiar with the structure of the exam and focus on the most problematic areas of grammar, vocabulary, and word formation. They will identify frequent errors in their own work and practise eliminating them, with particular emphasis on the Grammar and Vocabulary section and the Writing section of the exam.
Course objective: By the end of the course, participants will understand the main ideas of complex written texts and spoken discourse on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization. They can communicate fluently and spontaneously that they are able to interact with native speakers without strain on either side. They can produce clear, detailed texts on a wide range of topics, explain their views on current issues, and outline the advantages and disadvantages of various options. They are well prepared to take the B2 exam.
Grammar: Aspect, verbal prefixes, passive voice, less common noun declensions, numerals, word formation, standard and non-standard Czech.
Topics: Topic areas corresponding to level B2 (interpersonal relationships, media, crime, finance, the environment, culture, etc.).
