FR 01 – French – Beginners (A0/A1-) – Week-long Intensive Course
Course Content: The course is designed for beginners and false beginners with an A0/A1 entry level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The course is focused on developing all language skills. It introduces all the basic grammar topics, and that knowledge is then deepened and extended to the appropriate level. Vocabulary and discussion topics follow naturally from the grammar that is being taught. The focus is on everyday life situations.
Course objective: The aim of the course is to prepare students to achieve A1 level according to CEFR. Graduates will be able to write a simple, coherent text with the use not only of the present tense, but also of future and past tenses, and will be able to easily express themselves, converse and manage everyday situations at the appropriate level. Graduates will also understand the gist of a simple conversation and be able to read personal letters and other simplified texts.
Grammar: A revision of verb conjugation in the present tense, the formation and use of the basic past and future tenses (passé composé, imparfait, futur proche, futur simple), conditionals in the present, articles, possessive and personal pronouns.
Topics: Common life situations (family, school, interests and hobbies, work and leisure), francophone countries.

FR 02 – French – Intermediate (A1) – Week-long Intensive Course
Course Content: The course is designed for undergraduate students with an A1 entry level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Grammatically, attention is paid primarily to the comparison of meaning and the use of basic past and future tenses, pronouns and the subjunctive mood. Vocabulary and conversation topics follow naturally from the grammar topics that are being taught and are focused on everyday life situations.
Course Objective: The aim of the course is to prepare students for the A2 level according to the CEFR. The graduates will have improved their linguistic responses to everyday life situations in French and will be able to express themselves at an appropriate level when answering common, as well as more complex, questions. They will be able to express their opinions. Graduates will also have acquired a better understanding of the narrative in stories and will be better oriented in the press.
Grammar: Grammar covered will include the differences in the use of basic past tenses (passé composé, imparfait and plus-que-parfait), different ways of expressing the future, direct and indirect objects, the creation of meaning and the use of the subjunctive (le subjonctif).
Topics: Common life situations, work, school and leisure time in France compared to life in our country, reporting events that have taken place, projects and plans for the future.

FR 05 – French for Teenagers (Ages 12–17) – one-week course
Course contents: The course is designed for young people aged 12 to 17 with basic knowledge of French (A1), according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Participants can expect a week full of games, fun, and varied activities in French. The course develops language skills in a natural way – through guided creative activities and games. It focuses primarily on listening comprehension and speaking skills. Vocabulary and topics are tailored to the participants’ interests and basic communication needs.
Course objectives: The aim is to spark interest in French and deepen communication skills through activities and games in a Francophone environment.
Grammar and lexis: Grammatical and lexical features are introduced and reinforced through language games and activities using authentic and guided materials. Content corresponds to A1 level of the CEFR.
Topics: Topics and corresponding vocabulary are based on the participants’ interests and tailored to their language needs, enabling them to communicate on everyday subjects (for example, family, hobbies, home, food, and storytelling) both during the course and in an authentic Francophone environment.
