SP 06 – Spanish – Beginners (A1) – Week-Long Intensive Course
Course Content: The course is for anyone interested in learning Spanish. During the course, students will gain understanding of simple phrases in the present tense. Students will learn the basic phrases, vocabulary and grammar necessary for everyday communication.
Course Objective: Graduates of the course will have learnt to understand simple sentences in the present tense.
Grammar: Pronunciation (including differences between European and American Spanish + spelling); Conjugating regular and irregular verbs in the present; Noun-adjective agreement; Numbers; Prepositional expressions; Comparatives and superlataives; Stressed and unstressed forms of possessive adjectives/possessive pronouns
Topics: Greetings and introductions; Describing ourselves and others (age, nationality, occupation, studies, personal characteristics, appearance); Walking through the city, asking for directions, shopping and talking (description of our journey, places of interest in the city and everyday life situations); At a restaurant, in a bar, or while visiting friends.

SP 07 – Spanish – Pre-Intermediate (A2) – Week-Long Intensive Course
Course Content: This course is for all those who have been studying Spanish for several years now and have achieved an A1 level (false beginners). During the course, participants practice speaking, listening and writing, expand their vocabulary practice present, past and future tenses, learn to use the perfect and indefinite tenses, practice the imperative and improve their use of personal subject pronouns..
Course Objective: The main aim of the course is to improve participants verbal skills and enable them to conduct a conversation, not only in order to express their everyday needs, but also on more complex topics: to describe experiences and events, communicate their feelings and their reasoning, and explain their opinions and plans. At the end of the course, participants will be able to understand and use frequently-used expressions (for example, for providing very general personal and family information, shopping, place names, employment).
Grammar: Improving knowledge of verbs conjugation in the present tense; focus omn past tenses: perfecto; future tense; the imperative;, polite phrases; improving use of personal pronouns as the subject of a sentence
Topics: Use of characteristic expressions in social relations; inviting and responding to invitations; making plans for a meeting; making a phone call; describing future plans

SP 08 – Spanish – Intermediate (B1) – Week-Long Intensive Course
Course Content: The course is designed for A2 level students of Spanish. The course focuses on all language skills: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. During the course, the participants will acquire new vocabulary; they will be able to use past and future tenses and the subjunctive. Course participants will be able to understand and respond appropriately to most everyday situations, as well as communicate their basic needs and wishes.
Course Objective: The main aim of the course is to improve participants’ spoken Spanish for the purposes of conducting conversations that go beyond everyday topics: recounting experiences and events, expressing one’s feelings and logical reasoning, explaining one’s opinions and detailing one’s plans, giving a brief account of a book or film.
Grammar: The most used descriptive verbal links; Focus on past tenses: perfecto, indefinido and imperfecto, pluscuamperfecto; Future tense; The subjunctive in the present tense and its use in common situations: expressing doubts, wishes, astonishment, joy, sadness); the imperative. Exchanging pleasantries. Improving the use of personal pronouns when they serve as the sentence’s subject.
Topics: Expressing probability, deductions and predictions; asking about health and mood; expressing fear, worry, joy, surprise and grief; asking for a favor or permission; expressing consent or non-consent, weighing different opinions.
