Comparative Legal Studies (Enforcement of Justice)
Course Content:
The Comparative Legal Studies course is focused on introducing students to the specific details of the legal systems of the Czech Republic, Great Britain, the USA, Israel, Italy, Spain and Germany. These legal environments are not only unique, but also interesting and instructive for students of law attending (continental) European universities.
Course objective:
Comparison of the legal systems in selected countries and their comparison with Czech law. The overall interpretation in English will improve participants’ legal terminology and ability to converse on legal matters in English.
Minimum entry level:An Intermediate level in both written and spoken English

Teaching materials:
The course is taught using audiovisual techniques. One of the great benefits of the course is the personal presence of foreign lecturers (native speakers) who are involved in teaching. The teachers will prepare a selection of suitable study materials (Xeroxed) on each topic.
