Course name: English – English for Students with Learning Difficulties (A2-B1) -Week-Long Course

Course Content: The course offers 28 class hours divided into practical training strategies in individual linguistic skills with a Czech English specialist for dyslectics (18 hours) and afternoon conversations with a native speaker (8 hours). It enables participants to communicate in English for private, study and training purposes. Students must be 17 or older.

Course objective: The aim of the course is to prepare students to reach the B1 + level according to CEFR.  The grammar deemed necessary for communication at this level will be revised and expanded upon during the course. Course graduates will demonstrate a higher level of linguistic strategy and skill upon completion of the course, especially in listening comprehension, writing and reading comprehension. They will be better oriented in the language system of English, be able to converse on topics of some complexity at their level and, using the correct tenses, be able to recount past events and express their plans for the future, including the probability that they will happen.

Minimum Entry Level: A2
