Course name: English – Upper-intermediate (B2) – Week-Long Afternoon Course
Course Content: Participants will strengthen their language skills at a level corresponding to B2 level (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar structures and language functions); they will work on their competences (speaking, listening, reading and writing), as well as gain enhanced communication skills. The participants will have the opportunity to actively develop communication skills through speaking and listening-focused activities and exercises.
Course Objective: The course will strengthen and develop the language skills and competencies of participants who have already achieved a B2 level. Participants will acquire vocabulary to do with everyday life and improve their grammar in a manner appropriate for their level. They will understand the main ideas of authentic texts with concrete, as well as abstract topics, and professional discussions in their field. Participants will be able to discuss topics of some complexity and use their language skills to solve problems in challenging travel or work situations. They will be able to communicate fluently and spontaneously with native speakers, without much effort on either side.
