Course name: English for Pupils Aged 7-11 (A1-A2) at Nečtiny Castle – One-week Full-Day course
Course contents: The full-day course for children at Nečtiny Castle is composed of two blocks. During the three-hour morning block, classes are taught by a Czech teacher and a native speaker. The course utilizes non-traditional forms of teaching and focuses mainly on the development of language skills through integrated thematic lessons. Thanks to the presence of a native speaker, children have the opportunity to try out their language skills without the possibility of relying on Czech. At the same time, they have the opportunity to compare our lives here to life in the UK. The second block is an entertaining, educational afternoon program that integrates artistic, musical, sporting and cognitive activities with elements of English. The whole course will be focused thematically.
Course objective: The main objective of this course is to contribute to improving the level of knowledge of English among children and to motivate this age group to further study languages, not only at school, but also in their free time.
Minimum entry level: A1
Note:
Teachers: A qualified Czech teacher and assistants from the UK.
Number of lessons: 30 hours of teaching, 6 hours leisure activities using English.
