Course Name: English for teenagers aged 12-17
Course content: At a level appropriate to age and knowledge, participants will consolidate language resources (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammatical structures and language functions), competences (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and, within the given level, will also strengthen communication skills. The fun educational program in the afternoon block integrates art, music, sports and cognitive activities with elements of English, participants work on a project on a given topic in cooperation with native speakers from the TEFL program. Students are divided into classes according to their language level.
Course objective: The participant will understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to different areas of life (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, geography, employment). Will be able to communicate in simple and routine tasks that require a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Teaching is organized in thematic units corresponding to students’ interests.
Lecturer: qualified Czech teaching staff and qualified native speakers
Number of teaching hours: 66 teaching hours per week (including free time activities in AJ)

If interested, the course can be attended for both two weeks, the program will not be repeated.
